The hotel building was built in the sixteenth century in the Mediterranean villa style. Initially, it was the summer residence of the Marquis Serzale family. In 1951, the villa was transformed into a luxury hotel that was continuously upgraded. The Marquise followers own Le Sirenuse and this day. The hotel became known as a romantic place for lovers, the history of his appearance is linked to the love affair of a British tourist with the heir of the Cersal family. Today, the decorated old furniture of the sixteenth century and antique objects of art, the hotel is part of the historic and cultural heritage of South Italy and Positano. Le Sirenuse was noted as the best hotel in Europe and as the best Italian hotel.
