The Incredible Sasha Ray

and her Wish List

Sasha Ray (@sasha.ray), the real name Aleksandra Vovchenko, is a Ukrainian singer,
entrepreneur and Instagram blogger with 4,1 million followers. Since her childhood,
she and her parents have been travelling with us. Today, globetrotting is part of her life.
In this interview Sasha tells us about her preferred destinations, dream locations
and ways to cope with the stress of living in a megapolis.

These emotions were so strong that they will stay with me
forever.

– Where would you take your foreign friends in Ukraine?
What sights would you show them?
– Honest to say, in an attempt to travel the world, I’ve missed
the opportunity to explore Ukraine. So I wouldn’t refuse
some advice myself. But to my friends from abroad I would
definitely show Kyiv, Lviv and the Carpathians. I believe
that Western Ukraine has a special appeal and authenticity
to captivate its every guest.

– What are your impressions of the latest Venice Film
Festival?
– Quite frankly, during the festival, life in Venice gets
so hectic that you barely have time to stop and soak up
the magic of the city. The days are filled with filmings
and photoshoots, premieres and events. Celebrities arrive
from all corners of the globe, brands organise their parties,
and crowds of tourists become absolutely huge as actors
and models join them.
Thankfully, I stayed next to St Mark’s Square and had
the chance to walk around the famous Piazza and visit my
favourite Harry’s Bar for the legendary Bellini and pasta.
