The exclusive Eden Rock St Barths, Saint-Bartelmi, is located on the Cape, near the white beach, on the north-eastern coast of Saint-Barthlemie Island, torn by the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Eden Rock St Barths, Saint-Bartelmi, 60 years ago, was the home of the first Mayor of Saint-Bartelmi Island, Rémy de Haenenen, a friend of Greta Garbo, Howard Hughes, Robert Mitchum and many other American and European celebrities that made this place a post-war free spirit. Subsequently, Eden Rock St Barths, Saint-Bartelmi, developed successfully as a hotel, often changing its owners until, in 1995, its true masters - the couple David and Jane Matthews. Matthews has vigorously started rebuilding work on the updating of Eden Rock St Barths, Saint-Bartelmi, linking three distinctive elements - painting, music and a great kitchen. The main building of the hotel, cattage and the villas of light tones with pink turtle roofs and simple wooden terrace is built in a classic naval style and freely scattered on a rocky hill or on a coastal line.
A menu of an international kitchen with a French and Caribbean gradient is offered at the hotel ' s restaurant and bar, supplemented by swinging wines, cocktails and cool drinks.
