The Ecole Nouvelle School is a private co-educational school in Lausanne (60 km from Geneva), in the central part of the city, on the banks of the Geneva lake.

Sport: rock climbing, mountain bicycle walks, canat labyrinths, bulb shooting, volleyball, table tennis, mini golf, football hockey, ball rolling, gym class, swimming. For an additional fee, it is possible to organize a paraplane (+ to pay for the Funikuler, paid locally), a large tennis (the ball and balls need to be brought with them) and a rider.

Entertainment: discotheques, watching films, international evenings, barbecue, talent show, camping, thematic evenings, aqua park, cultural trips, bowling.

Ecole Nouvelle organizes a tour for an additional fee at Europa Park. The cost includes transport costs, hotel night 4*, entrance tickets, meals. Places are limited and travel will be arranged if a minimum of 10 children are recruited (for a total of 40 places for this tour).

Training programme:

On the first day of their arrival, students pass a test that results in their distribution to an international group of language skills.

The standard course includes 22 lessons per week and offers students an effective course in English or French during summer holidays. Lessons are from Monday to Saturday: from Monday to Friday, guys are doing four classes in 45 minutes, and on Saturday, two classes. Lessons touch on all aspects of the learning of the foreign language, but special emphasis is placed on speech, since these skills are the weakest of all children entering language courses. At the end of the programme, every student receives a certificate containing a teacher ' s report on the success of the child.

The school also offers a course of preparation for the Cambridge examination in English and French. No examinations are scheduled.
