You can connect the Junior and Executive Suite for a grand 82 sqm two bedrooms. Being a historic hotel, each Junior Suite in this category is quite individual, some have a city view, while others overlook quiet courtyard and a few have sunlit balconies.

Marble bathrooms have separate showers, some with twin basins.

The Terrace Suite is on our ‘noble’ floor, being a historic residence, the ceilings are higher, so it has a wonderful sense of spaciousness. The separate sitting room is furnished with personal care to achieve a balanced elegance. The marbled bathroom has a separate shower.

Premium Room is a gorgeous retreat with the latest facilities you’d expect from the hotel which in the 1800s housed the first telegram and postal service in the city.  Today’s connectivity includes a retro speaker to fill the room with your favourite playlists.

Furniture is beautifully restored, parquet is polished, while a selection from our photography gallery captures artistic clientele. The wardrobes are generously sized, always welcome after a shopping spree on Via Montenapoleone. Being a historic hotel, each room in Premium category is quite individual.

The Superior Suite honours Visconti’s style, renowned for his unique approach to atmosphere, detail and drama. The historic rooms are elegantly restrained, resonating with potential, a place to think and create.  extremely spacious Deluxe Suite is decorated with motifs from the middle east reflecting Lucio Dalla’s world travels. Fresh and light, many artists reserve it as a place of inspiration, somewhere to think and create while in Milan.

In Verdi’s lifetime the whole of Italy could hum an aria by the composer of Nabucco, La Traviata and Rigoletto. The great Maestro sought inspiration in his living space: ‘The room has to be spacious, bright, elegantly furnished and have every practical comfort’. In 1872 this suite became his home. Being 674 steps to La Scala, audiences cheered Verdi back to the Grand Hotel et de Milan. On the first night of his opera Otello, Verdi stepped onto his balcony to acknowledge the wild applause, his tenor joined him and gave a spontaneous encore.
