Heathfield school

The Hitfield St. Mary school was founded in 2006 by the merger of two girls ' schools: the Heathfield School, the base year 1899, and St Mary Wontage School, the year of base 1872. Today, Hitfield St. Mary is one of the few remaining girls ' schools, where every student lives on a full board. The original and majesty building in the georganian style has been expanded to include a modern well-equipped scientific unit, an art school, a sports hall and a hidden pool.

All students, with the exception of students of the last year of study, live and study in one building. Residence and pastoral care are organized at a high level. Girls with any religious preference are admitted to the school, but attendance at the English Church is compulsory. At Hitfield St. Mary's school, there are highly qualified teaching staff. The results of the examinations are very high, and emphasis is always placed on the achievement and expansion of the horizon of each student.

At high school, music, drama and art are taught. Games and sports satisfy any taste. A wide range of extracurricular activities is provided, especially on weekends. Visits to other cities, including London, are often organized.

Delivery: Main

Income age: 11, 13 and 16 years. Entrance examinations are required for school enrolment. Interviews are conducted to obtain advanced level (Sixth form) and the characteristics of the school and the 5 GCSE examinations are required for at least C (estimations B for items selected at A-level).

The results of the GCSE examinations (secondary education): 32 pupils for 11 years of study, all received at least an estimate of C for more than 5 subjects. A-level: 28 pupils in the last year of schooling gave an average of 3 subjects.

After graduation, graduates mainly go to higher education (50 per cent a year). Of these, 5 per cent elect medicine, dental and veterinary courses, 10 per cent choose natural sciences and engineering, 60 per cent are humanitarian and social sciences, 15 per cent are legal, 10 per cent are art and design. School uniforms are mandatory except for the last year of schooling.

School life: At school, there are competitions between dormitories, elders and prefects appointed by the Director. Social life: Theatrical performances, debates, discotheques, official lunches and evenings of the Kalendon Society are held in conjunction with the Boys School (e.g. Ethan (Eton), Harrow (Harrow), Wellington College (Wellington College)). There's a school store in the school.

Training in Heathfield school

The curriculum includes the GCSE examinations and advanced A-level examinations.

Twenty-two subjects are proposed for A-level study in the first year and 20 in the second. Most A-level students give up from 3 to 5 subjects. Professional: Lingwives have the opportunity to gain experience abroad. At school, there is also a certificate from the Leights School, participation in the Young Entrepreneurs Club, etc. Special conditions: English as a foreign class; partial support for dispensaries.

Languages: All study French and Spanish; both languages plus German, Italian, Portuguese and Chinese can be studied for GCSE and A-level. Private lessons are available on Greek, Dutch and Wallace. Student exchanges are organized with France.

Information and communication technologies: Preferred as a separate subject and as

included in other subjects. Students are available to use computers. All computers are connected to the local network, access to e-mail and Internet. 70% of pupils have their own laptops. All pupils can qualify OCR Clait levels I or II on information technology.

At Heathfield St. Mary's school, you can learn music, drama, dance, art and design.

Music: More than 75 per cent of pupils learn to play a musical instrument; an instrumental examination can be passed. There are groups in the school, including orchestras, choirs, various strings and spiritual groups. Some students attend the Young Royal College of Music on Saturdays.

Drama and dance: Both can be studied; drama is part of the basic curriculum for the first three years. It is possible to hand over the GCSE drama, the A-level theatre arts and the Examination of the London Academy of Music and Dramaturgia (LAMDA).

Most students participate in school and dormitories. Arts and design: On average, 35 pupils are given GCSE, 20 A-level students. It is also possible to study the arts, the ceramic, the textile, the photograph, the history of the art and the printed case.

Sport: It is possible to pass the GCSE examination on physical education. Mandatory sports are: lacrosse, nobol, gymnastics, dances, swimming, tennis, athletics, rounders. The Optional are: healing exercises, squash, basketball, bouting, budminton, volleyball. Also, senior students can be further involved in pilates, golf, skating and teckwondo.

Activities: Students participate in the Duke of Edinburgh and Youth Entrepreneurship Award. Charities are organized throughout the year. There are handicrafts and drama workshops in the school, as well as clubs, from Scottish dance to Spanish kitchens.

Heathfield school

60 per cent of pupils live in their own rooms, 20 per cent in common rooms, up to 5 in each room, the rest in 6-9 rooms. The rooms are divided by age. A qualified nurse lives at school and a doctor attends school twice a week. Senior students living in the residence may

I can cook my own food. Each semester has two mandatory exits and two additional weekends. Visits to a nearby town are allowed from 14 years after noon on Saturday by 3 teams.
