What We Check Before Recommending a Property

Photographs and brief descriptions do not always provide a complete picture of a villa or chalet. Two visually similar properties may differ significantly in layout, privacy, location and the services included.

When selecting a property, we assess:

• the layout and location of the bedrooms;
• the distance to the beach, ski lifts or resort centre;
• whether direct beach access or ski-in/ski-out access is genuinely convenient;

Upon request, we consider chalets with a private spa, swimming pool, sauna, fireplace, cinema room, playroom and separate areas for children or staff. We also confirm whether the services of a private chef, butler, driver and daily housekeeping are included.

Resort Villa or Standalone Private Residence

A villa located within a hotel or resort combines privacy with access to restaurants, beaches, sports facilities and children’s services. This format is often the most convenient choice for families who value hotel-level service, a kids’ club, spa facilities, restaurants and access to the full resort infrastructure.

A standalone private residence generally offers greater seclusion, flexibility and freedom. However, transport, staffing, catering, housekeeping and the surrounding infrastructure must be assessed separately.
