Radley College is an independent boarding school for boys. It was founded in 1847 by Reverend William Suell (William Sewell), a member of the Exeter College of Oxford University, to organize public school on the basis of the English Church. It is now a very high-level academic school with primary learning conditions. The College liaises with Oxford University and the English Church. The results of the examinations are also excellent, thanks to the ratio of the teacher to 1.8. A large number of graduates go to Oxford and Cambridge universities every year.

Training in Radley College

Basic age of admission: 13 years, small number of students are accepted at 16. Nine secondary education examinations (GCSE), of which 5 are required for A. Students come from various private preparatory schools and some boys come from public schools.

Training plan: GCSE

Teaching 27 subjects, 23 on AS-level and 22 on A-level. 24 per cent of students study natural sciences, 38 per cent humanitarian, 38 per cent both. Radley College, like a number of other academic schools, requires most students to study four subjects at advanced level (A-Level).

Foreign languages: French, German, Spanish and sometimes Portuguese and Russian can be studied on GCSE, AS- and A-level. They can teach Mandarin Chinese.

In the 10th and 11th years of national education, the programme consists of compulsory subjects, namely English, mathematics, French and natural sciences, for which students pass the examinations, as well as religious education and information technology, for the 10th year, which are attended by all boys but do not pass the examinations.

Boys in higher nets are preparing for GCSE in English and literature, and students of weaker sub-groups benefit most from English only.

Arts in Radley College

Music: About 40 per cent of boys study on a musical instrument and can pass an examination. The Music Office is very strong and actively cooperating with the drama section.

There are many musical groups in the school, orchestra, church choir, choir society, spiritual orchestra, dance group, jazz band. The Glee Club has received Oxbridge awards on several occasions. There are also small occal groups specializing in modern or old music at school.

Drama, you can study drama and theatre. Most boys are involved in school and

Social work. The school has a new theatre of 450 places and a beautiful design center.

Art and design: an average of 82 boys study this subject at GCSE, 15 at A-level. The school also offers design, race and photography. The College offers students many visits to study public and private art collections worldwide. Recent visits included galleries in London, New York, Beijing, Amsterdam, Rome and Florence.

Sport in Radley College

In the school, the exclusive conditions for sports and college are widely known for their achievements in rugby, cricket, hockey and horticulture (a mile from Temza school is the seat of the seat). There are also golf fields in the Territory, and the college contains a pack of racing.

The dormitories compete in their studies, music, drama and sports. Prefects and elders are appointed by the Director and educators.

Religion: The heart of school life is a chapel that provides daily services to all colleges and families who join them on Sundays. Visiting the church is mandatory for four short evening services during the week and during Sunday service. Social debates and concerts are organized in partnership with other schools. Nutrition

is going to the general cafeteria with self-service. It's a school shop.

Life in Radley College

There's a number of dormitories at school for 65 people. Each of them has a Tutor Assistant and a caretaker whose primary responsibility is to monitor and assist boys. Senior boys have the same responsibilities as prefects and mentors to help younger and new students in dormitories. In the first year of schooling, boys spend time in the day in the common room (Social Hall) and sleep in the dormitory. The other four years they live in single rooms. Each dormitory has common recreation rooms.

Boys are encouraged to participate in sports and other activities, as well as to develop their hobbys and talents and help to gain confidence.
