Madeira is open to tourists
This summer, our country's travelers will be able to rest. Madeira♪ It's the first of the regions. Portugal opens its borders to tourists, regardless of the availability of COVID-19 vaccination.
In order to visit Madeira, it is sufficient 12 to 48 hours before boarding to complete a questionnaire on the platform madeirasafe.com and, upon arrival, to present a negative result of the PCD-test, which was filed no earlier than 72 hours before. The result should be translated into English and certified by the laboratory which issued it. This requirement is mandatory even if vaccination is available.
If there is no test, it can be passed directly to the airport on arrival. In such a case, until the result has been obtained, the traveller is self-sustained in the hotel.
