The next morning, a gentle cruise along the peaceful River Saône leads us to the quiet town of Seurre. After lunch, alight with your guide for a drive down the famous Route des Grands Crus. Take the opportunity to visit the historic Clos de Vougeot, a 12th century symbol of Burgundy history. Then, enjoy a private wine tasting at a renowned Gevrey-Chambertin producer before returning to the barge for dinner.

On

day 3, we visit Dijon, the former capital of the Duchy of Burgundy. Visit the monumental Ducal Palace, then browse the traditional covered market to pick out enticing specialities. Enjoy lunch at one of Dijon’s charming pavement cafés before returning to the boat for your afternoon cruise to Verdun-sur-le-Doubs. Tonight, dinner is served on board.

Day 4-6

Fragnes – St-Léger-sur-Dheune
Continue cruising on the River Saône until we enter the Canal du Centre. After lunch, you may wish to disembark with your guide and spend the afternoon discovering the vinous wonders of the Côte de Beaune. Admire the prestigious vineyards along the mythical Route des Grands Crus, visit stunning wineries and become acquainted with their finest vintages. This evening, enjoy dinner at a beautiful local restaurant.

Relish the carefree bliss of a morning spent cruising along the Canal du Centre. If you like, your guide may accompany you on an afternoon tour of Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. Head to the Joseph Drouhin cellar for a tasting and return to the boat for cocktails on deck and an enchanting dinner as the sun sets.

On
