Day 1-2

St-Léger-sur-Dheune – Chagny
Board the barge at St-Léger-sur-Dheune for your cruise through Burgundy. You’re welcomed aboard by your private crew and dedicated guide. Celebrate the start of the cruise with chilled champagne and settle into your beautiful cabin, where exquisite furnishings offer new levels of luxury. Later, enjoy your first gourmet dining experience on board. Relax under the stars: your adventure has begun.

After a typically French breakfast, Fleur de Lys begins her journey with a leisurely cruise along the Canal du Centre. After lunch, you may wish to alight with your guide and explore the vinous wonders of the Côte de Beaune. Admire prestigious vineyards and become acquainted with stunning wineries along the mythical Route des Grands Crus. After sampling fine Burgundian vintages, return to the barge for a sumptuous dinner on board.

Day 3-5

Fragnes – Seurre
Relax on board as the barge glides along the final section of the Canal du Centre, mooring in Fragnes. After lunch, disembark for a private tour of Château de Germolles. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a beautiful local restaurant.

On the fourth day, the scenery changes as we meander through the majestic valley of the River Saône to Verdun-sur-le-Doubs. Highlights of the area include historic Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. Enjoy a private wine tasting, or simply stroll through the old town, taking in the wonderful architecture and enticing shops. Refreshing cocktails on deck whet your appetite for an enchanting dinner on board.

On the fifth day, visit the celebrated Clos de Vougeot, a symbol of almost 1,000 years of Burgundy history. Explore the ancient château with its four huge presses and the cellar built to accommodate 2,000 casks. After a local dégustation, rejoin the barge in the countryside near Seurre for dinner on board.

Day 6

St-Jean-de-Losne
This morning, indulge in a walking tour of Dijon, the former capital of the Duchy of Burgundy. Visit the monumental Palace of the Dukes, browse the traditional covered market, and peruse the famous Maille mustard shop. There’s time to lunch in a charming pavement café before returning to the barge mid-afternoon. As Chef prepares your farewell gala dinner, why not toast the end of your adventure with a refreshing kir, made from local blackcurrant liqueur and Aligoté white wine?
