The Bazaruto Archipelago is one of the few remaining places in the world with perishable tropical nature off the coast of Mozambique. It's the largest island of the archipelago, 37 and 7 km wide.
The island is part of the national park.
In the coastal agres of the island, rare mammals - oceanic syrene dugons - can be observed, and grazy pink flanges can be seen in sandbags. Lodge guests can go to a lake inhabited by crocodiles or go to jeeps on the east coast sand dunes, and enjoy the Chopian folklore show tonight.
