Hotel description
Lanserhof Tegernsee is a medical resort in Bavaria where a stay is organised around diagnostics, consultations and an individual treatment plan. The 21,000 m² property sits among the hills and forests of the Tegernsee Valley. Its architecture, spacious rooms, pools and relaxation areas provide a calm setting, while the central purpose of the stay is preventive care and rehabilitation guided by specialists.
Lanserhof Classic forms the basis of a longer visit. It starts with medical examinations, after which the guest and physician establish a plan for nutrition, movement and treatments. The seven-night basic programme includes follow-up medical appointments, urine analysis, a body-composition measurement, massages, drainage treatments and daily group movement and relaxation sessions. Medical duty and night service are available. The basic medical programme is priced separately from accommodation.
Additional programmes address more specific goals. Longevity includes laboratory analyses, metabolic assessment and specialist consultations. Brain Health focuses on cognitive and neurological diagnostics. Weight & Sports combines exercise assessment, training and nutritional guidance. The resort also lists rehabilitation, Long Covid, energy-balance and skin-care programmes. Each programme’s contents should be agreed with the treating physician: treatments are selected in light of the assessment and may differ from the basic package.
Between appointments, guests can use the spa with its pools and saunas, train in the fitness area or explore the surrounding countryside. Meals follow the Lanserhof Energy Cuisine concept and are aligned with the prescribed nutrition plan.
Lanserhof Tegernsee offers spacious double rooms and suites with balcony terraces. In the current room collection, sizes start at 55 m² and reach 250 m² in the separate Pavillon Suite. Interiors use calm colours, wood and other natural materials, while large windows open the rooms to the surrounding landscape. Layouts vary: Parvus Suite combines its bedroom and lounge in one space; Symphonia Suite divides its areas with sliding doors; larger suites provide two bedrooms or a fireplace lounge. Infinitas and Elysium Loft have private saunas. Pavillon Suite adds a private gym and roof terrace to its two bedrooms. Depending on category and position, views take in the forest, pool, golf course or Tegernsee Valley.
Sliding doors separate the two living areas in Symphonia Suite. A convertible double sofa in the lounge creates sleeping space for a third guest. The suite also has a balcony terrace and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
