Sharwar is a painting town on the shore of the Raba River. It's located in the area of yours, West Zaduna. The city was founded by ancient Romans and was then called Bassian. In the era of the Rhodina (the arrival of Hungarians into the territory of the present Hungary), this city ' s strength was a fortress against the attacks of the German Principals. The baptism in the centre of the city has a rich historical past: until 1280, she was in the possession of the royal family, then she took over the family of Kösegi, and then, at the time of Karl I ' s rule, returned to the royal family.

In 1532, under the leadership of Ferenz Nadashdi, the city ' s inhabitants reflected Turkish troops ' assaults and the fortress took over the family of Nadashdi, making Sharwar a cultural centre of Hungary. In Tamash Nadashdi's courtyard, scientists, artists, poets, humanists, doctors and architects have always been brought. In 1541, the first book in Hungarian was printed in Sharwar, New Testament. After the death of Ferenz Nadashdi, the city took over the property of the Drashkovic family.
At a time when the city belonged to King Bavaria Ludwig III (hereafter 18 October 1921), it became a model economy.

In 1961, another treasure, thermal water, was discovered as a result of oil exploration. On 20 August 1968, Sharwaru was returned to the ranks of the city, which he was deprived in 1871. In recent years, Sharwar has become very attractive for medical tourism.

Today, 12,000 residents live in Sharwar. This small romantic town, located 30 kilometres from the Austrian border and 200 kilometres from Budapest, was admitted to the Royal Spas of Europe association, which brings together the best spas from Europe. Sharwar ' s special features are the fortress and the botanical garden. The city center, which is 15 minutes away from the Spirit Hotel, is offering our guests a pleasant stroll. This hospitality city remains forever in the hearts of our guests visiting Sharwar.
