You will see: Main train station, monument to Alfred Escher - the founder of Credit Suisse bank and the technical university; Station Street (Banhofstrasse) 1.2 km from the station to Lake Zurich; monument to Pestalozzi - the Swiss Makarenko; picturesque Augustiner Alley (Augustinergasse); St. Peter's Church (St.Peterkirche) with the largest clock diameter in Europe; Lindenhof linden square with a magnificent panorama of the city and the Limmat River; Fraumunster Cathedral with unique stained glass windows by Giacometti and Chagall; Grossmünster Cathedral - the shrine of Protestantism; the old quarter of Niederdorf with its unique history, ancient tiled roofs and towers.
