This tour will take you to the unique Rio de Janeiro, the impressive Iguazu Falls, and the best beaches of the Buzios resort. Day 1 Rio de Janeiro
Day 1 Rio de Janeiro Flight to Rio de Janeiro. You will be met by a guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Rio is green hills, blue skies, rocky mountains, beautiful bays, islands, beautiful beaches... The second largest city (after Sao Paulo) in Brazil and, of course, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Beach hotels are located along the entire perimeter of the Guanabara Bay coast and, if you live in one of these hotels, the beauty of Rio de Janeiro immediately opens up to you. The blue ocean water beckons to the beaches, and the most popular are Copacabana, Leblon, Ipanema with its famous black and white tiled promenade. From morning until late evening, people play football and volleyball on the golden sand. And if you arrive at night, the twinkling lights mysteriously accompany you on the way from the airport - these are the lights of the favelas. After checking into your hotel, do you have some free time? Plunge into the ever-bubbling stream of people on Copacabana Avenue or find a spot on the beach between the palm trees, sand and ocean waves. Day 2 Rio de Janeiro Breakfast After breakfast, accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide, you will go to the Red Beach (Praia Vermelha), from where you will take the funicular up Mount Urca. Here on the observation deck there are many souvenir shops and cozy cafes. From here, a monumental view of the Statue of Christ the Redeemer opens up - this is one of the most famous and popular monuments in the world. Every year, at least two million tourists climb to its foot, from where you can see the panorama of the city and Guanabara Bay with the picturesque Sugar Loaf Mountain, the famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, the huge bowl of the Maracana stadium and the surrounding green mountains and views of Rio. And more! The whole city is visible at a glance! Then, after riding the cable car, you will visit the historical part of Rio de Janeiro. Here are buildings built in the colonial style, monasteries and the main Cathedral of the city. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay. Day 3 Rio de Janeiro Breakfast Then you will meet a Russian-speaking guide and go to the station, from where an open, environmentally friendly train with cozy carriages will take you through the jungle to the top of Corcavado Hill. On both sides of the route there are breathtaking views of the Tijuca jungle, which is home to small monkeys and various exotic animals and birds. And on the top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, rises the symbol of Rio - the monumental statue of Christ the Redeemer. It is always crowded. Enjoy the beautiful view of Rio de Janeiro! After that, you will walk in the Tijuca jungle. Return to the hotel. Overnight. Day 4 Rio de Janeiro Breakfast We offer one of the excursions described below (for an additional fee): 1. Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro - this is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. It was founded by the Portuguese King Joao VI in 1808, immediately after his arrival from Portugal. It is a green oasis of peace and quiet. All the alleys are lined with centuries-old palm trees, and an amazing collection of subtropical and tropical plants from all over the world is collected here. Some of the plant specimens here are endangered species. And in the lake, the Royal Giant Lilies (Lago das Vitórias Régias) attract attention. On the alleys leading to the pond, you can meet monkeys. In total, 5,000 varieties of plants from all over the world grow in the garden. The botanical garden is rightfully considered one of the most picturesque corners of Rio de Janeiro. Duration of the excursion: 4 hours 2. Trip to the tropical islands. The city of Itacuruza, located on an island 1.5 hours from Rio de Janeiro, in the province of Mangaratiba, lives on fishing, tourism and agriculture. The city is built up with small fishermen's houses. In order to get to Itacuruza, you need to cross the Sepetiba Bay on the schooner Saveiro. During the trip you will see islands covered with tropical forests. Very often you can see frolicking dolphins, giant fish, parrots, turtles and poisonous rays. In the sea, the schooner stops so that those who wish can swim. And on the island, a magnificent lunch buffet awaits you. You will walk around the island and swim in the bay or in the pool. Then - return to the schooner and the way back to Rio. Duration of the excursion: 8 hours 3. Night Rio: Mulatto Show You will spend an unforgettable night in Rio! Accompanied by a guide, you will go to watch a show full of fiery Brazilian dances: samba and capoeira performed by very slender and beautiful mulattos. During the show, you can order dinner. After the end of the show, you will return to the hotel with a guide. Duration: 4 hours 4. Royal Petropolis Petropolis is a city located in the mountains 60 km from Rio de Janeiro. King Pedro II bought land here in 1830 and built a summer palace to bring his sick daughter here, who was not happy with the hot climate of Rio de Janeiro. The famous Imperial Palace was built in 1862, now it houses a museum, but the interior of the Palace has been preserved. The Royal Palace has preserved many antique furniture and household items of the royal family, which are now exhibited in the museum. There are also jewels here, for example, a gold crown decorated with diamonds and pearls. You will visit the Gothic Cathedral, where Princess Isabel, King Pedro II and his wife are buried, and then go to the Royal Museum. And European architects built many buildings here, beautiful examples of German architecture. Duration: 6 hours 5. Helicopter flight over Rio The helipad is located on Sugar Mountain, where, accompanied by an instructor, you will fly over Rio de Janeiro. The flight lasts 8-10 minutes. But even during this time, the majestic panorama of endless golden beaches, the Botanical Garden, the monumental statue of Jesus and Rio lying below adds adrenaline to the blood, and you admire this spectacle. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay. Day 5 Rio de Janeiro - Foz do Iguaçu Transfer to the airport, flight to Iguaçu. Meeting and transfer to the selected hotel. You can book an additional excursion to visit the waterfalls from the Argentine side. Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Argentine side of the waterfalls (with a Russian-speaking guide, entrance tickets are included in the price). Iguazu Falls are located on the border of Brazil (Paraná state) and Argentina (Misiones region). To fully experience the grandeur and power of the waterfalls, it is necessary to view it from both countries, however, the beauty of the surrounding nature, the abundance of exotic birds and butterflies will take your breath away during a walk along the numerous bridges built over its Argentine part. During a walk through the park, you can see many species of orchids, birds, reptiles and other representatives of the flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest. The observation decks give a unique feeling of the proximity of the power of nature, from where you can enjoy the view of many waterfalls - a unique natural phenomenon! Several tourist routes have been created in the vicinity of the waterfall. One of the most unforgettable is a ride on an ecological train and then a walk to the Devil's Throat observation deck. From here, a fascinating panorama of the most powerful and full-flowing cascade of the waterfall opens up. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay. Day 6 Foz do Iguaçu Breakfast Visit to the Brazilian side of the falls (with a Russian-speaking guide, entrance tickets included in the price). The Foz do Iguaçu Falls, located on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, are 275 huge water streams falling from a terrifying height. The rainbow colors of the water jets are simply mesmerizing. The waterfalls are located on the territory of a national park with unique flora and fauna, they were formed as a result of a volcanic eruption and displacement of earth layers. The name of the waterfalls in translation from Guaranian means "big water". 275 waterfalls, each of which has its own name, fall with a roar into the gorge "Devil's Throat". The contrast between the calm and even lazy flow of the Iguaçu River above the waterfalls and the powerful downfall of the seething streams of water from a height of 72 meters into the abyss is amazing. You can stand for hours without stopping, contemplating this spectacle and thinking about the magnificence and eternity of our universe. Next, you will have an excursion to the Bird Park. It is located near the Iguassu National Park. You will enter huge enclosures, in which amazing, fabulous birds of outlandish colors fly or walk freely among the tropical forest. A "Macuco Safari" trip through the jungle and a wonderful boat ride. You will travel through the jungle in an open jeep for about 3 kilometers, accompanied by a guide who will tell you a lot of interesting things about the ecology of the region. Then you will go on foot to the bank of the Iguassu River, from where you will be taken to the waterfalls by motorboat. Splashes and rainbows, a sea of delight, well, and a little fear, and unique photographs await you. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay. Day 7 Foz do Iguaçu - Rio de Janeiro Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Arrival at Rio de Janeiro airport, where you will be met by a guide. Transfer to Buzios. Accommodation at a hotel on the tropical coast.
