Visa in Australia for Ukrainians

All new visa applications and applications for citizenship from persons living in Ukraine are considered by the Australian High Commission in London.

Payment for visa applications and citizenship should be made by means of a credit card.
Maps Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and JCB International are accepted. The amount will be written off in Australian dollars.

Application forms:
Form 1419
Form 956A Written authorization from you to provide information to third parties or agents.
All the documents listed below should be provided with copies of documents relating to the departure of minors (birth certificates, consent to departure, marriage certificate/ducation/death certificate) and certified by a notary.

Necessary documents:

  1. 1 colour photograph on white background, 35mm*45mm
  2. Photocopies of the personal data pages of the existing foreign passport.
  3. Confirmation of your previous international visits: copies of visas.
  4. Confirmation of the availability of funds, in the form of a bank statement. Cash and credit cards are not valid.
  5. Confirmation of your source of income:
    • employer's certificate of employment, post and salary, and duration of paid leave
    • If you have your own business (e.g. PP), documents confirming your organization's registration, activities, its current financial activities (e.g., last income report).
  6. Certificates of ownership.

For students

  1. Letter from school or University, confirming your pupil status and the approved period of absence.

For applicants under 18 years of age (including dependent applicants)

  1. Notary certified copy of birth certificate
  2. A notarized written permit to travel to Australia from a parent who does not travel with a child, as well as a home page of personal passport data or a copy of another identity document of that parent.

If you visit a relative or a friend in Australia

  1. A copy of the identity document: photocopy of the passport/driver certificate of the inviteor.
  2. A signed statement from the invitee clarifying the level of financial support and confirming the income of the invitee (wage receipt, bank statement) if the inviteor pays for your trip and stay in Australia.

For pensioners, additional

  1. Pension Fund certificate or pension certificate.

If you've already been 75 years old

  1. Health insurance should be provided for the entire period of planned stay in Australia.

Depending on personal circumstances, additional information may be requested: summary(CV), medical examination, etc. Tourist will be further informed.
Copies of other documents, e.g., work site/training, bank statements, copies of visas, may not be certified.
Documents in support of a statement other than English or Russian should be provided with a certified English translation.
