Ukrainian citizens need a visa to enter Mexico, except where a permanent resident visa or a valid visa is available to Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain, the countries of the Schengen Zone, Canada or the United States.
Electronic copying system (SEA)
- For citizens of Ukraine born in the territory of Ukraine visiting Mexico for the purpose of tourism, transit and business, there is an electronic system for obtaining entry permits without the need to open a visa to the Embassy.
- Electronic authorization is free, indeed for one trip, for one entry and maximum stay for 180 days. It may be used within 30 days of its confirmation.
- Minimum passport validity for six months.
If the place of birth is not Ukraine, a Mexican visa must be issued for entry to Mexico, not an electronic entry permit.
It is issued by the Embassy to the traveller personally.
