Visa in Bhutan for Ukrainians
Citizens of Ukraine need a visa to visit Bhutan. The request for entry into the country must be sent to the Bhutan Tourism Department only through an accredited travel agency at least 3 months before the intended date of travel. The agency also needs to complete all the documents related to the hotel reservation and travel plan in Bhutan. Before departure, it is necessary to obtain a Visa permit from the agency, without which the Bhutan Airlines Druk Air, the only air carrier to the country, simply will not issue tickets.
The Kingdom of Bhutan does not issue visas for individual travelers.
A 15-day tourist visa is issued at the Paro airport upon arrival. To obtain a visa, you need to bring 2 photos with a size of 3x4 cm, a Visa permit, a valid foreign passport and pay a visa fee of $20.
