The hotel is located 40 kilometres south of Mombasa, on the Indian Ocean coast, half an hour from Moi International Airport. The hotel is built in the " Saudi " style resulting from the mixing of African and Arab cultures. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, the Kongo Mosque Mosque mosque is situated in the 16th century.

Indian Ocean Beach Club is one of the new hotels in Kenya.
