Château Pavie wine tasting (Classic tour)
Château Pavie, Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classe A, is one of the iconic wineries on the right bank of Bordeaux.
From the vineyard and its exquisite building and cellars, to its elegant wines, the visit to Chateau Pavie is a luxurious experience.
Since 1998, the castle has been owned by the Perse family, which brought the winery its current fame. In 2012, the winery was upgraded to the 1st class Grand Cru, the highest category in the Saint-Emilion wine hierarchy. Only three other wineries have been recognized as worthy of this prestigious ranking.
This tour (history of the estate, visit to the cellars) ends with a tasting of one type of Château Pavie wine and another wine from the Perse' Estates range in a special tasting room. The tour is conducted in a group of up to 12 people. Visits by appointment only (Monday to Friday). Languages: English, French, Portuguese.
