It's one of the 25 islands located between the mainland and the Great Barrier Reef, closer to the equator. Lizard is a national park.
It is possible to get here on a hydroplane from the city of Carnes, a “Tropical Gate” of Australia, from which many tourist routes begin. Among the main features of the prestigious resort are 24 white sand beaches, Blue Lagoon, coral gardens, many birds and lizards and, of course, the luxury of Lizard Island Lodge.
There's only 40 rooms in the hotel (and that's why the armor should be taken care of in advance). All apartments are at the highest level. The guests will be offered a full board. The hotel has all the conditions for active sports. You'll have catamarans, sailboats, fishing gears, laps and masks for a fascinating underwater research. Is it possible to resist the temptation to be in love with the corals or to dive with the maroons and rolls? No experience? No problem! The experienced instructors will give you some diving lessons.
