Day 1. Arrival in Chengdu — Your First Introduction to China

Today your journey into the heart of the Middle Kingdom begins — a country of ancient culture, remarkable traditions and striking modern contrasts.

VIP Arrival Service
After landing, a VIP service representative will meet you at the aircraft exit and escort you through expedited passport control and customs, as well as assist you with your luggage. A private vehicle will then be waiting to take you to your hotel.

14:00 — Meeting at the Hotel
Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin the day’s sightseeing programme.

Tea Kung Fu in People’s Park
Immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Chengdu — a city where tea culture and kung fu have existed side by side for centuries. You will watch an impressive tea performance, during which a master skillfully pours tea into cups, and then have the opportunity to prepare a cup of fragrant Chinese tea yourself in a cosy teahouse.

Historic Kuan Zhai Alleyways
A colourful historic quarter where Qing Dynasty architecture blends harmoniously with contemporary life. Stylish cafés, art galleries, boutiques and local delicacies make this an ideal place to experience the rhythm and flavours of Chengdu.

Sichuan Face-Changing Opera
A VIP performance filled with theatrical magic. Masters change dozens of masks within seconds, combining acrobatics, humour and vivid theatrical characters. It is one of China’s most mysterious traditions. If desired, you may also experience the traditional local ear-cleaning service performed by a specialist.

Around 21:00 — Return to the Hotel

Chengdu is an ideal beginning to a journey that reveals the authentic, vibrant and multifaceted character of China.

Day 2. A Day of Nature, Harmony and Inspiration

Today you will meet one of China’s most beloved symbols — the giant panda — and immerse yourself in the worlds of contemporary architecture and book design.

07:00 — Meeting at the Hotel
Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel.

Wolong Giant Panda Research Base
The giant panda is a national symbol of China and one of the world’s most recognisable wild animals.

During your visit to Wolong Panda Base, you will see pandas of all ages — from tiny cubs to fully grown adults.

A leisurely walk through the spacious grounds offers opportunities to watch the pandas play, relax among the trees and enjoy their favourite bamboo.

Zhongshuge Bookstore
If the famous mirror scene from Inception were recreated inside a bookstore, it might look exactly like this.

Zhongshuge is considered one of China’s most unusual book spaces thanks to its spectacular interior created by design studio X+Living.

Curved bookshelves, mirrored ceilings and halls inspired by the karst mountains of Guizhou Province create an impression of infinite space.

Walking among the shelves feels like stepping into a fantastical world reminiscent of the work of artist M. C. Escher.

Around 17:00 — Return to the Hotel
Your guide will take you back to the hotel.

Day 3. A Day of Majestic Landscapes and Engineering Wonders

Extraordinary natural landscapes await you in Hunan Province: canyons, dramatic rock formations, jungle scenery and some of China’s most famous glass bridges.

07:30 — Meeting at the Hotel and Airport Transfer
Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby, while your private driver will accompany you to the airport and assist with flight check-in.

Upon arrival in Zhangjiajie, a local guide will meet you in the arrivals hall. A private vehicle will already be waiting for your comfortable transfer to the hotel.

Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province
Hunan Province is renowned for its spectacular natural landscapes, part of which are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The majestic quartz sandstone pillars of Zhangjiajie inspired director James Cameron when creating the legendary floating Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar. This is one of China’s most impressive natural regions, where towering stone pillars rise above dense forests and clouds.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is one of China’s most spectacular natural attractions. During your walk you will see sheer cliffs, dense forests, turquoise waters and the narrow “One-Line Sky” gorge, creating a sense of complete immersion in wild nature. The area combines magnificent scenery with remarkable modern engineering.

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge
The Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge was listed by Guinness World Records as the world’s highest and longest glass pedestrian bridge at the time of its opening.

It is 430 metres long and 6 metres wide, suspended up to 300 metres above the canyon floor.

Even if you decide not to cross the entire bridge, simply seeing this extraordinary engineering structure is an unforgettable experience.

In misty weather, the landscape becomes particularly magical. This area is also home to the First Bridge Under Heaven, an immense natural stone arch shaped by nature over millions of years.

Tianzi Mountain
One of the most beautiful parts of the park, often described as a “kingdom of clouds and stone.” Fairytale views stretch across an apparently endless forest of stone peaks. The name Tianzi, meaning “Son of Heaven,” is connected with the legend of the local leader Xiang Dakun.
