The hotel is located at the centre of the business and commercial area and 15 kilometres from Harare International Airport. The 12-stage building was built in 1915 in a classical style, with a view to the African Unit area among greens and trees, and on the coloring market. In 1998, the building was fully upgraded and redesigned to the details and to the preservation of the plaque. Since its founding, the hotel has benefited businessmen, senior citizens, diplomats and royal family members. For 10 years, the hotel has been recognized as the best hotel in Africa and Zimbabwe. Both wings of the building have windows with panoramic species in the city. There's a living room with a bar, a library and a CD player, a business centre and a restaurant.
