Hotel description

The Reserve is located in eastern South Africa in Mpumalanga Province. The Lodge Territory has a common border with Kruger National Park for 33 km. The history of these places has been taking its origins since the early 1900s, when, instead of wildlife, they tried to breed livestock here. Attempt failed, and in 1929, Walk Campbell bought Mala Mala, deciding to set up a safari camp. He found a place at the Sand River. This is where the guests came for hunting, including representatives of world dynasty. Since the 1960s, hunting has been abolished, and cameras have been used instead of weapons. In Mala Mala three main camps: Mala Mala Main Camp, Sable Camp (located in the southern part of the Reserve) and Rattray's Camp. Two of them are built as a building in the African style, with straw roofs and wooden walls surrounded by shadow trees and similar lawns. The third is a house complex. So far, Mala Mala is not only a legendary place, but one of the most fenable and convenient safari centres in the world. He was awarded many awards, such as the title of the best hotel in the world, or, three consecutive years, the best in the world of a small hotel. Camp Mala Main Camp

There are 18 numbers, including 1 Single room8 Luxury twin or double rooms and Family rooms8 Suites1 Disabled suite♪ The numbers are located in the interconnected structures of the colour of the oaks, which are organized in different parts of African dwellings and which have been decorated by the valuable works of the decoration and appetite of peoples.

The numbers are located in a building built in an African colonial style surrounded by a simple wooden platform. Each room has a cozy veranda with a view to the river and two bathrooms (partly for men and women). In The Lion's Den Suite Two bedrooms, this is the largest number on the Reserve. Visitors in the camp can see more than 200 different species of animals, including the " Big Five " , as well as many birds, and consult with an experienced ornithologist. In the interest of security, the camp does not permit the placement of children under the age of 16.

Camp Ratray's Camp
