Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is located in a picturesque location next to the Ayung River, a 10-minute drive from Ubud city center and an hour's drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The hotel features the luxurious Mandapa Spa & Wellness centre, built over the picturesque Ayung River. The centre features an outdoor pool with a hydromassage area and views of the river, a sauna, a steam room, an ice fountain, hydromassage showers, a 24-hour fitness centre, a yoga studio, relaxation areas and 8 treatment rooms, including 4 rooms for couples. Mandapa Spa & Wellness offers a wide range of treatments and programmes based on 6 main aspects – Balinese SPA, cleansing, nutrition, alternative therapies, body therapies and healing. The programmes and treatments of the centre use ancient Balinese techniques, modern Western methods, local natural products and products of the famous ESPA brand.

The hotel's grounds include: an outdoor heated pool with panoramic views of the rice fields, a pavilion overlooking the river and fields where yoga classes are held, cycling, rafting, elephant rides, local cooking lessons, programs introducing the culture and traditions of Bali, and exciting excursions.

The hotel has a Mini Explorers club for children aged 5 and up, where young guests can enjoy a variety of entertaining and educational programs introducing them to the culture and traditions of Bali: yoga and fitness classes in the jungle, walks through the surrounding rice fields and a “scavenger hunt”, lessons from Balinese healers and painting with plant paints, chocolate making and ecological gardening, acquaintance with the nocturnal flora and fauna and flying Balinese kites. The hotel also provides facilities for staying with children, and babysitting services are available (upon request).

Kubu at Mandapa is an unusual restaurant, and its name kubu in Indonesian means "wicker hat" in which local farmers stored their rice harvest. The restaurant serves European and Mediterranean cuisine and fine European wines in its pretty, wicker bamboo pavilions surrounded by a garden.

The veranda of the Sawah Terrace restaurant overlooks the rice fields and tropical forest and offers a variety of Balinese, Asian and "healthy menu" dishes.

The pool bar is a great place to grab a snack and relax with a refreshing drink or cup of tea.

The elegant library bar offers a wide selection of drinks, aromatic teas and light snacks.
