The modern capital of Kazakhstan, the city of Astana, has settled in the northern part of the country on the banks of the Ishim River. This small provincial town has become a major modern megapolis in a very short time. The absence of historical monuments and graphic buildings has enabled the urban population to focus on modern architecture and technology.

In Astana, you won't find unique architecture monuments, there's a modern Hay-Tech building waiting for you. The most outstanding building in the city is the Palace of Peace and Consent, which was designed by Englishman Norman Foster. He put his hand in building many other structures in Astana. The Palace of Peace and Consent is still called " Piramid " , glass design and 62 metre height is visible from a distance. A variety of concerts, exhibitions, opera speeches are held. There is a small negotiating room under the pyramid that is called the Komel.
During the rest of Astana, we should visit the Han-Shatyr shopping mall, located next to the Park of Love. Here, you will find a lot of stores, restaurants, bars, and a unique Dino Park and Sky Beach Club with glass ceiling, river and sand that was specially brought from Maldives.
Bitek is a unique design, majesty monument, considered a card of the modern capital of Kazakhstan. The full name of this monument is Biterek Astana. For the Kazakhs, it has become a symbol of a new stage in the country ' s history, and the world community sees Beitrek as an expression of the independent State of Kazakhstan.
There's still a lot of interesting structures and pieces in the center of the city, and there's a two-line round square that's decorated by fountains, flower composites and sculptures.
Among the religious values, Hazret Sultan is one of the largest mosques opened in 2012. The grand building with white walls has over 10,000 people on holidays. Inside, the building is decorated by gold, Arab knives, columns and dome.
