From May to November, brief tropical showers and more changeable sea conditions are possible. However, this is also the main period for manta activity around Hanifaru Bay. Getting to Baa Atoll

Most resorts in Baa Atoll are reached by seaplane from Velana International Airport. Flights usually take around 30–40 minutes, depending on the island and operating route. Some hotels can also be accessed by a domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Airport followed by a speedboat transfer.
