Program

An action-packed cruise exploring picturesque islands and incredible Antarctica. During the cruise, you'll see at least six species of penguins, a huge number of fur seals, elephant seals, and numerous bird species. And, of course, the incredible landscapes of the White Continent, where everything is truly white: white snow, white penguin bellies, and icebergs sparkling in the rays of a blinding white sun.

Day 1. Buenos Aires, Argentina
Accommodation at your reserved hotel.

Day 2. Ushuaia, Argentina
Morning charter flight to Ushuaia, a city located at 55 degrees south latitude and closer to the South Pole than Argentina's northern border. Here, a stop at the tourist office is absolutely essential to get the legendary "Southernmost City on Earth" stamp in your passport. In the afternoon, you'll board the ship. On board, you'll meet the crew and expedition staff. Setting out to sea.

Day 3. At sea
During sea passages, several species of birds follow the ship south. From on board, you'll have the opportunity to observe albatrosses, various species of petrels, and whales.

Days 4-5. Falkland Islands
Today we'll disembark in Port Stanley, which resembles a British village that has fallen from the sky into this wilderness. Many of the houses are painted brightly, undoubtedly adding to the picturesque atmosphere of this remote outpost. The wreck of the Lady Elizabeth lies offshore, a silent testimony to the unpredictability and harshness of the local weather conditions.

Days 6-7. Our ship continues south
At the Antarctic Polar Front, deep waters rich in nutrients rise to the surface. This attracts a variety of birds, including several species of whale birds and skuas, which can be observed and photographed from the boat.

Days 8-10. South Georgia
The most active part of our journey to Antarctica begins. We will do everything possible to immerse you in the natural wonders of this amazing region, literally. Zodiac boat excursions await you, allowing you to observe animals from the water, as well as landings and shore walks. We will disembark on Prio Island, a favorite breeding ground for wandering albatrosses. We will visit Salisbury Plain and St. Andrews Bay, which are not only home to the three largest colonies of king penguins but also the three largest beaches in the world, where elephant seals gather for breeding. And on Grytviken, you can visit the South Georgia Museum and Shackleton's grave.

Days 11-12. Leaden Waters of the Scotia Sea
As the ship continues toward the White Continent, you have the opportunity to relax and take a short break from our active expedition to Antarctica, and listen to fascinating stories from naturalists.

Days 13-16. Antarctic Peninsula
Our ship will enter the Weddell Sea, where enormous tabular icebergs will herald our arrival at the eastern coast of the Antarctic Peninsula. We plan to land on the volcanic Paulet Island, home to a large population of Adélie penguins, and at the port of Brown Bluff, which is located on the Antarctic continent itself. These windswept volcanic islands are often shrouded in impenetrable fog, but despite their apparent inhospitability, they offer many hidden treasures to the inquisitive traveler. The Gerlache Strait offers several opportunities for exciting landings on the continent. Gentoo penguins, leopard seals, Weddell seals, humpback whales, and minke whales are common sights here.

Days 17-18. Drake Passage
We navigate the choppy waters of the Drake Passage, accompanied by familiar flocks of birds. You have time to relive the most exciting moments of the expedition and participate in the final activities on board.

Day 19. Ushuaia, Argentina
Our Antarctica cruise concludes here. After breakfast, we disembark in Ushuaia. A transfer will take you to the airport.

This itinerary is a general outline of the expedition. Itinerary may change due to external factors, such as weather, ice conditions, etc.

placement

The luxury expedition vessel Le Boreal embarked on her maiden voyage in the spring of 2010.

Built in the spirit of a private yacht, with large arched windows that define the vessel's character, Le Boreal is a subtle blend of luxury, privacy, and well-being. The vessel's interior design was developed by Jean-Philippe Nuel's agency.

The megayacht offers guests accommodation in 132 ocean-view cabins, most of which feature balconies, ensuring no occasion goes unnoticed.

This stylish and powerful vessel is equipped with the latest technology. Everything onboard has been carefully thought out—a reception area, spacious lounges, two restaurants, a well-equipped theater, an outdoor pool, a beauty salon and fitness center, and a relaxation area with panoramic windows.

Culinary art is the fundamental principle of the fine dining options on board. There are two restaurants on board: a traditional restaurant where you can dine both indoors and outdoors. The second restaurant offers international cuisine with exquisite dishes.
