In 1889, in the heart of Rome, on the legendary Via Veneto, the Majestic Roma Italia opened. The hotel fully lived up to its name – the majestic building, designed by the famous architect Gaetano Koch, was erected on the site of the Villa Ludovisi in the 17th-18th centuries, and in the 19th century it was a kind of belvedere, offering stunning views of Via Veneto and the historic center of Rome. The architecture of the hotel is also unique – the shape of the building resembles a piano, and its neoclassical façade amazes with the strict elegance of its style.
