Aman Rosa Alpina is Aman’s mountain retreat in San Cassiano, surrounded by the UNESCO-protected landscapes of the Italian Dolomites. Following an extensive renovation, the historic property has emerged with a new identity that brings the Rosa Alpina family heritage together with Aman’s characteristic sense of architectural restraint, privacy and connection to nature. Its 51 rooms and suites have been designed by Jean-Michel Gathy as contemporary interpretations of Alpine living, using wood and natural stone alongside soft natural textures, floor-to-ceiling windows, working fireplaces and expansive balconies that keep the surrounding mountains at the heart of each space. The resort is designed for different seasons in the Dolomites. In winter, San Cassiano provides access to more than 1,200 kilometres of pistes within Dolomiti Superski, complemented by the hotel’s Ski Lounge, ski butler service and shuttle to Piz Sorega. Summer and autumn open the landscape to hiking, via ferrata, cycling, trail running and other outdoor pursuits. The 1,684 sqm Aman Spa extends over two levels and includes three swimming pools, hydrotherapy facilities, saunas, a steam bath and seven treatment suites. Dining ranges from Italian cuisine at The Grill and Japanese Shabu Shabu at Enju to relaxed Il Salotto and the Di Vino Room, whose cellar contains more than 25,000 bottles. Families have access to a children’s playroom, teen lounge, dedicated family pool areas and three private cinemas.
Aman Rosa Alpina offers 51 renewed rooms and suites designed by Jean-Michel Gathy. The concept unites the property’s heritage with Aman’s minimalist design language and the natural character of the Dolomites. Wood and natural stone dominate the interiors, complemented by restrained tones and tactile materials, while large picture windows and balconies visually extend the rooms towards the forest, village and mountains. Many categories feature glass-enclosed working fireplaces and dedicated living areas. Accommodation ranges from 40–44 sqm Superior Rooms to the 158 sqm two-bedroom Aman Suite. Several rooms and suites can be interconnected for families and groups. All stays include daily breakfast, in-room tea, coffee and non-alcoholic refreshments, access to the wellness facilities, private cinemas, children’s playroom and teen lounge, as well as the Ski Lounge, ski butler service and shuttle to the Piz Sorega cable car during winter.

Aman Rosa Alpina is located at Strada Micura de Rue 20 in San Cassiano in the Dolomites. Driving time is approximately 1.5 hours from Bolzano Airport, two hours from Innsbruck and 2.5 hours from Venice. Helicopter transfers to San Cassiano can be arranged on request, taking approximately 22 minutes from Bolzano, 30 minutes from Innsbruck, 45 minutes from Venice and 70 minutes from Milan.
