Lombok is an island east of Bali. The name of the island was derived from a specific form, which resembles the burning peppers, in huge quantities, the growing island (lombok, in Indonesian, the name of the pepper).
Lomboca's pies are amazingly painting and diverse, ranging from small-scale sand beaches to high mountain peaks, from dry stems to wet tropical jungle and tea. Locals worship the Rinjani volcano, one of the four highest mountains in Indonesia. We can resurrect the volcano, accompanied by experienced conductors, and see from the top of the northern Lombok coast and the Yavan Sea, and if we're lucky, then the north of Sulawesi.
The island ' s population is mainly engaged in agriculture and fishing; the island has textiles. The Government is trying to stimulate the development of the traditional crafts of the island, of which the most known Punujak ceramic articles, tissues with gold and silver thread of the city of Sukarara are known.
Lomboc is dryer than Bali. Wet season lasts from November to March. Lombok is in the transitional natural zone, and representatives of both Asian and Australian flora and fauna can be found here.

Tourism infrastructure is mainly concentrated on the south-west coast of the island, the Sengigi Beach. There are most of the city ' s hotels, including known tourist chains.
Next to Sengi Beachat a distance of 9 km, 3 small coral islands are located at sea: Gili Air, Gili Meno or Gili Trawangan♪ This is the perfect place for diving (intact corals and a large number of colored fish) and for a picnic on a peppered beach. Tourism has recently developed rapidly and on the southern coast in the region Coituswhere new fenile hotels and airports are planned for the near future.
There are also Lombok Small islands with a well-developed tourism infrastructure that is attractive not only for diving, but also for private recreation.
GILI AIR
White sands of beach, palms and calm atmosphere make this island a real paradise.
GILI TRAWANGAN
The largest of all three islands known for their young party. Most hotels are located in the eastern part of the island.
GILI MENO
The surrounded by white sands of beautiful beaches, Gili Meno is between the two other islands described above. You can rest here, relax and walk through the soft sea sand. Here, like all the islands of Gili, everyone moves by bicycle or horse. The hotels are all over the island.
Be careful with the sun, use sunscreen with a degree of protection at least six!
It's dangerous to swim outside specially equipped places and at night.
It is not recommended to carry large amounts of money.
Don't drink water from underneath! Use only water in sealed bottles.
