In summer, Crans-Montana becomes a destination for golf, hiking and cycling. The Severiano Ballesteros course hosts the Omega European Masters and is distinguished by its mountain setting. The shorter Jack Nicklaus course provides an alternative for a more compact round.

Walking routes follow historic irrigation channels, cross forests and Alpine meadows, and continue towards the high-altitude landscape of Plaine Morte. Lakes Grenon, Moubra and Étang Long are suitable for waterside walks and seasonal activities. A stay can also include visits to the vineyards of Valais and tastings of regional wines.

When to visit

The ski season generally extends from December to April, although piste conditions vary with altitude and weather. June to September is the most suitable period for golf, hiking and cycling.
