Bruget, there's no argument, the most beautiful city in Belgium. The former vibrant port and centre of the textile industry, this medieval city, as much as time as trade, the main source of the city ' s well-being, almost ended in the sixteenth century. As a result, the technological revolution did not touch it, and the city managed to live in the fire of the two World Wars while preserving its charm and an amazing atmosphere of the oldest.

Despite its modest size, Brugge is the capital of Western Flemish and meets thousands of tourists each year on its streets and channels. A lot of visitors come to town from Brussels for one day, but the city is worth staying in it for the night, walking around the streets and feeling the spirit of the past.

Bruges has no reason to call a small Venice: this amazing city is intersected with many channels and bridges that are so pleasant to undertake a review tour. And Bruge has something to tell you and show you. As you enter the city, you will first draw attention to his architecture: there is a gothic of romance, barocco and luxury, negotiology and artnuvo. The medieval buildings are scattered along the canals, painted at the historical centre and in the surrounding areas.

One of the important features is the Church of the Holy Girl, whose cap is 122 metres, which is considered to be the highest brick building in Europe. There was a 13th-century tower on the Market Square, Belford, at the top of which 47 bells marked with their call every hour. Other areas of interest include the Benedictian Monastery (Beguinage), the base of the Blood of God (Heilig Bloed Basiliek). St. Salvator Cathedral, a rich inner salvator, stores the work of famous Belgian Oost artists (van Oost), Kwellin (Quellyn), Memling (Memling) and others.

Bruge is a romantic city. You must walk to the mysterious lake of Love, where the swans swim, one of the symbols of Bruge.

In 2000, the city centre was placed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO. To the north of the centre of Bruges, there is a so-called " Crossing Centre " where magnificent rounds of local streets can be bought today.

Bruges collects rich collections of medieval and modern collections.

The work of the Flemish artists Van Eyck, Van Oost, Bosch and many others, you can see at the Groeninge Museum.

The Charter of the Noise Areas can be stopped in one of the many cozy cafes and watched the city slowly fall down, lights burn and give it even more glorious than day.

Compared to other European countries, Belgium has a relatively soft climate that resembles the weather in Britain. But the fall and winter can be very rainy and cold. Even in the spring and summer at night, it's quite cool, especially because of the nascent winds. The average temperature in the summer is 23 degrees.

Despite its small size and quiet atmosphere, Brugge has no shortage of bars and restaurants. Mariastraat is a B-in known in the city of a living nightclub and a bar under one roof.
