North Cape - The largest and, at the same time, the smallest province in the country. Here are the “almas capital” Kimberly, the Kalahari desert, the Augabis waterfalls, the Orange River, here we can observe the annual miracle of the Namaqualand Valley.
Kimberly, the UAR diamond capital, grew up around diamond mines. So far, Big-Howles is located in the centre of this Museum City, the largest mine quarry in the world, which started the Almazine fever of the beginning of the century (for a small fee, and now we can try to find a diamond on our own). Today, Kimberly is a modern city with wide streets, magnificent parks and gardens, comfortable hotels, his own tourist tram, the beautiful Museum of Arts William Humphris and, of course, the luxury Minor Museum located on the edge of Big Hawl. Five kilometres from Kimberly, the diamond site of Bultfontain is still in operation. Tender-Elli and Egerton-Repids on the Orange River, the Lindberg-Loj Reserve farm, from here on (also from San City) starts most of the routes to the great Kalahari desert.
