Program

Day 1: Santiago

Arrive in Santiago, meet at the airport with a Russian-speaking guide, and then transfer to The Singular Santiago Hotel, a 5-star luxury boutique hotel with 62 rooms and suites. Regardless of room category, you're sure to appreciate the comfort and service.

After a short rest, in the evening, we'll dine at one of the city's top restaurants, Boragó, named one of the 50 best restaurants in South America in 2020.

After dinner, return to the hotel for rest.

Day 2: Santiago

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of the historical and modern sights of Santiago de Chile.

Continue your journey to Valparaiso, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, we'll ride the funicular, connecting the city center with the picturesque hills. At the summit of Cerro Concepción, we'll follow the Atkinson and Gervasoni trails. We'll then head to Viña del Mar, also known as the Garden City, renowned for its natural beauty and cuisine. We'll stroll along the promenade and visit the city's main attractions. Enjoy a seafood lunch at one of the city's best restaurants.

Return to Santiago after the tour. In the evening, we suggest dining at a seafood restaurant and sampling the famous "King Crab."

Day 3: Santiago

Today we'll visit one of Chile's largest wineries: Concha y Toro. Situated in the beautiful and prestigious Maipo and Pirque Valley wine region, just an hour's drive from Santiago. We'll stroll through the gardens, park, and summer residence of the Concha y Toro family. We'll also visit the wine cellars.

The tour includes a wine tasting and a delicious lunch.

Return to Santiago, rest. Dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 4: Santiago - San Pedro de Atacama

After breakfast, transfer with a Russian-speaking guide to the airport for your flight to Calama and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama (approximately 100 km / 1.5 hours). Check-in at the Hotel Alto Atacama. The hotel offers full board with quality meals.

We recommend a 3-night stay in this region, with daily tours that can be tailored to guests' interests. Some options are listed below (all tours can be customized):

EXCURSIONS

The Atacama Desert is the cradle of ancient cultural heritage. These tours offer guests the opportunity to explore this legacy left behind by indigenous peoples, from the Lican Antay to the Tiwanaku peoples, and later the Incas.

  • LICAN ANTAYAN CULTURE (half day / 4 hours) We travel back in time along the San Pedro River to discover the first traces of Atakamenian villages. We visit the 2,400-year-old archaeological site of Tulor and return via Ayllá de Coyo, enjoying breathtaking views of Pucará de Quitor, a 13th-century fortress.
  • ROCK ART (half day / 4 hours) A walk in the Cordillera de la Sal. A 2 km climb, learning about the history of rock petroglyphs.
  • RAINBOW VALLEY (full day / 8 hours) The trip begins in the Hierbas Buenas region, where we will learn about local life. Then we will visit Rainbow Valley, named for its colorful landscape.

Day 5 San Pedro de Atacama

EXCURSIONS:
We continue our exploration of the nature and culture of the Atacama Desert. Experienced guides have carefully designed a variety of routes to allow guests to explore the desert's mysteries. Most of them are gentle on physical activity.

  • VALLEY OF THE MOON (half day / 4 hours) This impressive geological formation offers one of the most breathtaking views in the entire region, attracting travelers from around the world to enjoy the sunset over the valley.
  • ATACAMA SALT AND TOCONAO VILLAGE (half day / 4 hours) This tour begins with a visit to Toconao, a local village known for its stone architecture typical of the area, as well as its important agricultural heritage. We then continue through the Tamarugos Forest, a forested region en route to Los Flamencos National Reserve, one of the most iconic and memorable spots for admiring the famous desert sunsets.
  • TATIO GEYSERS (Full Day / 8 Hours) "Grandfather Cries" is the local name used to describe the Tatio Geysers, a geothermal field located at 4,321 meters above sea level. Experience the unique flora and fauna adapted to this extreme environment. Upon returning, you'll pass through Machuca, a traditional local village.
  • SALT FLATS (Half Day / 4 Hours) A tour of Ojos del Salar takes us to two incredibly deep freshwater pools that unexpectedly emerge from the arid desert plains. The trip is remarkable for its conclusion on the shores of the turquoise Tebinquinche Lagoon, arriving just in time for sunset. Tebinquinche is renowned as a unique place where you can see the full palette of colors of the volcanic waters of the Andes and surrounding mountains at sunset.
  • ANDEAN LAGOONS (Full Day / 8 Hours) This tour takes guests through the southwestern region of San Pedro. The first stop will be at the junction with the old Inca Trail, the main route that connected This mighty empire stretches from Ecuador to Chile. The tour continues to Socair, a local village known for its traditional church and historic terraced plantations of quinoa and purple potatoes. We then travel to the high-altitude Andean lagoons of Miscanti and Minix. These crystal-clear waters were formed by the melting of ancient ice and serve as a refuge for observing the vast mountains. This region is also home to unique flora and fauna adapted to these high-altitude conditions.

Day 6 San Pedro de Atacama

The Atacama Desert sky is a window onto the universe.

  • ANDEAN ASTRONOMY (1 hour) To make the most of our desert stay, we have installed the region's only open-air observatory. It is located atop one of the many hills near the hotel. There, eight rotating chairs and a powerful telescope allow guests to immerse themselves in the intricacies of our universe. One of our experienced guides will share their knowledge.
  • CACTUS HIKING (half-day / 4 hours) This hike begins in Guatín, at the confluence of the Puricama and Purifica rivers, which flow from Guatín to the mighty Vilama River. The hike passes through diverse rock formations and cacti over seven meters high.
  • DEVIL'S THROAT (half-day / 4 hours) This mountain bike excursion begins in the village of Ayllú Quitor. From here, the trail leads through the picturesque gorges of the Cordillera de la Sal in the Catarp Valley. The excursion continues to Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat), named after ancient local myths. Visit to the town of San Isidro.

Day 7: San Pedro de Atacama - Salar de Uyuni

This morning, we begin our three-day adventure in Bolivia. We'll cross the border into Bolivia and explore Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt desert. We'll stay at a luxury desert hotel (Palacio de Sal or Luna Salada).
Upon arrival, we'll visit the so-called "Train Cemetery," home to the remains of steam locomotives from the 19th and 20th centuries. Visit the town of Colcachi, the Salt Museum, and the salt mill, as this is the best place to learn about salt extraction methods.

Day 8: Salar de Uyuni

A walk through the salt flats at sunrise, then transfer to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest. We'll then continue to the Uyuni and Incahuasi salt flats, with a short stop at the White Beach Hotel along the way. Explore the various cacti, then continue toward the village of Coquesa for lunch and climb Tunupa Volcano to visit the Coquesa Mummies. Afterwards, return to Uyuni for dinner at the hotel.

Day 9: Salar de Uyuni - La Paz

After breakfast, transfer to Uyuni Airport for your flight to La Paz. Upon arrival, stroll through the craft market and ride the cable car to explore the city. Dinner at Gustu Restaurant, the best in town. Overnight at Hotel Europa or similar.

Day 10: La Paz

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport
